VERBENAS

Verbena bonariensis (Verbena on a stick)
Price: $12.99

This 4 foot tall plant is very open and airy while being very sturdy and upright. This is the reason it is often called a see-through plant. Lots of small purple flowers attract butterflies, bees and goldfinches. The goldfinches perch on the stems which sway back and forth as the birds eat the tiny seed. Beautiful!

Plant at the back of the border, in the middle, or at the front edge. You will be pleased with it in any location. Tends to seed around but is easily removed if it is more than you need. A great cut flower. Needs full sun.
